Okay . . . I'm going to start off small here, and see if I can get back in the habit of posting a few shots every few weeks of Mara and the family! I'm going to keep it simple, brief and not make promises about the future of this, so here goes . . .
This is Mara's friend little friend, Hailey. Mara likes kids . . . bigger, smaller--it doesn't matter, she thinks they're cool.
Nothing like hanging out in the water bottle drawer. You can see the water bottles have been properly relocated.
Bonus feature of the water bottle drawer is that it provides access to the silverware drawer.
Here Aunt Stacey with Mara and (left to right) Mara's big cousins, Marais, Aiden, Darby and Wes. We were lucky enough to spend a week with the Bortons in Marine when we went home for cousin Amanda's wedding.
Mara loved hanging out with her cousins! Here they are all dressed up and ready to go to a wedding shower, I think.
This is back at our place in CB South--it was baby party day and our friend Dave, with little Hailey from one of the photos above, is hanging out with Stace, Anika and Mara.
This shot came from the peak trail, above the top of the Silver Queen Lift at the ski resort. We were hiking up there with aunts Rosanne and Nancy back in early August. Mara just never seems to have any fun . . . ha.
Here's Mara in the flowers, trying to get at the water spiggot. She likes to turn things on and off, and say "offfff" when she turns them off. She doesn't quite have the strength to manipulate the spiggot, so we're safe for a while yet.
We'll call this the parting shot . . . heh-heh-heh. Mara walks all over the place but tends to be more focused on where she's going than the steps she's taking at the moment. She gets tripped up and crashes more than once in a while, but is tough and usually gets right back up for more.
So I did it--the web site has been updated with Mara pictures! How cool is that? I'll try to update it again before another year goes by. Our little family is doing very well . . . Mara is growing up beautifully and is as wonderful as they come.
We hope you're doing well, too--drop us a line, as we'd love to hear from you!
